I'm Dr. Vicki Rackner, and I help families say YES to their lives by saying NO to OCD.
I call on my experience as a practicing surgeon, mother of a son diagnosed with OCD when he was in college and coach to help families avoid the many struggles we faced in the decade since those three little letters--OCD--entered our lives.
I wish a wise soul had sat me down at the kitchen table and said, "Buckle your seatbelts, because you're in for a bumpy ride. OCD is a formidable foe. Here's the big picture. Here's where you want to go, and the best way to get there. Here are the bumps in the road and problems to avoid."Â
